Workshop duration: 3 or 4 days
Maximum number of students: 18
Minimum number of students to open the workshop: 10
Recommended Tuition: $125 per student per day
Typical agenda each day:
9:00 AM to 12:30 PM Painting demonstration
12:30 PM to 1:30 PM Lunch
1:30 PM to 4:00 PM Student painting
Organizer conducts:
· Advertising the workshop
· Arranging lodging for the instructor
· Registering the workshop students
· Providing information of travel, lodging, and food to students.
Organizer provides:
· Classroom about 800 sq. feet (less windows preferred)
· A white wall as the screen for presentation
· Folding tables and chairs
· Still life stations (can be set up with cardboard boxes)
· Clip lights, light stands and extension cords
· Still life objects and drapes (optional)
Student registration:
· To reserve a seat, the student will send contact information and a reservation deposit to the workshop organizer. The amount is determined by the organizer.
· The full tuition payment will be due two weeks before the workshop starts.
Student brings:
· A portable easel
· Brushes, oil paints, and palette
· Canvases, or panels
· Paper towels and odorless turpenoid or mineral spirit
· Still life objects and drapes (optional)
